The new entity, named Raj Petro Specialities (Europe) B.V., will be based out of Rotterdam and amongst other responsibilities will also be responsible for the fulfilment of the obligations under the new REACh Law of the European Union.

The European “REACH” Regulation N°1907/2006 on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals entered into force on 1 June 2007.

Given the new legal requirements, we are pleased to inform that Raj Petro Specialities Pvt. Ltd. located in India  has incorporated a Subsidiary in Rotterdam Netherlands and this subsidiary  - Raj Petro Specialities (Europe) B.V. is appointed as their only representative for the all products/ substances manufactured in their  3 production site(s) in India.

Raj Petro Specialities (Europe) B.V. herewith confirms that all products currently imported into Europe, (manufactured by Raj Petro Specialities Pvt. Ltd., India), their imported tonnages and stated uses is covered by the pre-registrations submitted by Raj Petro Specialities (Europe) B.V.

Prior to final registration, there could be a need to re-evaluate the status of the pre-registered substances and there could be a possibility that some substances which are presently pre-registered, may not be taken up for final registration. In such circumstances, Raj Petro will contact the customers that maybe affected.

A NEW ENTITY – RAJ PETRO SPECIALITIES PVT. LTD. – with effect from 24th May 07.

We proudly announce the formation of the new entity, RAJ PETRO SPECIALITIES PVT. LTD. by the amalgamation of M/s RAJ LUBRICANTS (MADRAS) LTD. with SURYODAY BLENDING PVT. LTD. and consequent name change.

RAJ PETRO SPECIALITIES PVT. LTD., will operate with the combined resources of both the entities - As such we will now be able to seamlessly operate from three strategic manufacturing sites, one each in Chennai, Silvassa & Panoli. Communication will continue from the two corporate offices in Chennai and Mumbai

Raj Lubricants (Madras) ltd. has been amalgamated as a going concern along with all its assets, employees, rights, privileges and licenses, obligations and existing contracts, etc., as per the terms of the amalgamation scheme sanctioned by the Honourable High Courts of Chennai & Mumbai in the respective Company Petitions filed before the said Hon’ble High Courts.

In view of the amalgamation & change, M/s Raj Lubricants (Madras) Ltd. will cease to exist as a separate juristic entity and with the simultaneous, name change of M/s Suryoday Blending Pvt. Ltd., the amalgamated entity will be known as “M/s RAJ PETRO SPECIALITIES PVT. LTD.” from the said effective date of amalgamation as on 1st April 2006. For Purpose of transactions, the effective date of change will be 24th May 2007.
